AirAsia Launches “Don Mueang-Buriram” Daily Direct Flights Visit the City of Ancient Castles and the Home of Buriram United Fares Start at Only 390 THB!
AirAsia bolsters its domestic flight network once again with new daily direct flights from “Don Mueang to Buriram”, inviting everyone to experience a city of castles from 2 eras with its “Ancient Stone Castles” and the “Thunder Castle” home of Buriram United football club; confident in Buriram’s ability to attract visitors both Thai and international. Flights begin this 2 April onward.
Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, Director of Commercial for Thai AirAsia, pointed out that since the start of 2015 AirAsia has been consistently adding domestic flights to strengthen its network of connections. Don Mueang-Buriram is the 4th addition since the beginning of the year after AirAsia began flights to the 3 provinces of Nan, Loei and Roi Et simultaneously and saw their strong response, as evidenced by constantly high advanced bookings.
“Buriram was one of the places chosen for the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s “Cities That Can’t Be Missed” campaign as it has a variety of appeals. The city is home to world renowned stone castle Panom Rung Castle as well as Mueang Tum Castle, another well known landmark that draws many visitors each year. Buriram also has a more modern draw as it is a leading location for sporting activities with its Motor Sports stadium and leading Thai football team, Buriram United, who are both Thai Premier League Champions and considered major contenders in Asia.
