AirAsia Joins with TAT for "Thailand Shopping Paradise" Chinese travellers to enjoy great value from shopping partners and AirAsia's low fares to Bangkok
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) joins AirAsia for a Green Season campaign to stimulate travel to Thailand by offering discounts, premiums and privileges with "Thailand Shopping Paradise with AirAsia", turning the Kingdom into a shopper's delight with the cooperation of major department stores and partners including Asiatique, Calypso, Muay Thai Live, CPN, King Power, Siam Paragon, Divana Spa, and CIMB as well as Yuke "Son" Songpaisan, a Thai actor famous in China. The activity is being promoted with a roadshow throughout the region, starting with an event in Guangzhou, China on 11-12 July 2015 in One Link Walk Shopping Mall.
Ms. Somrak Kumputch, Deputy Governor for Administration of the Tourism Authority of Thailand said, "The cooperation between TAT and AirAsia as well as leading department stores and other partners will result in a high value travel and shopping experience in Thailand. By partnering up with a "Truly Asean" airline, leading department stores and other partners, foreign visitors will be able to enjoy attractive airfares, promotionsand privileges".
Ms. Somrak explained that the Green Season is an opportune time to stage promotional events to draw in foreign travellers that will stimulate the local economy. To promote this activity, a road show will be held in high potential markets of China, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam.
