Net Profit for 2013 was 462 million Baht or 0.78 per share
Bangkok, Thailand – 12 February 2014 – CS LoxInfo had a consolidated net profit for 2013 of Baht 462 million or Baht 0.78 per share, an increase by 18% over last year. This resulted from better performance of YellowPages Business, because of the recognition in some of a profit contributed from the sale of advertising space in the 2012 Thailand YellowPages Books in this year, which was resulted from the change in the distribution period from January to May. Thus, in 2012, CSL had recognized revenue from the sale of advertising space in the Thailand YellowPages Books only 8 mths, compared to full year recognition in 2013.
Moreover, CSL reported a net income from the separate financial statement for 2013 of Baht 503 million or Baht 0.85 per share, an increase by 15% over last year. This was due to the continuous growth from core products, especially in ICT & Cloud Services due to an emphasis and expansion in ICT integrated services and ICT solution services to meet the needs of our current corporate customers, and a subsidiary declared higher dividend paid to CSL, as compared to last year (2013 = 310 MB vs 2012 = 260 MB).
At the CSL Board of Directors’ meeting held on 12 February 2014, the Board of Directors passed a resolution to recommend to the Shareholders’ Annual General Meeting, for the payment of dividends for the 2nd half performance of year 2013 Baht 0.35 per share. The proposed dividend must be approved by the shareholders at their meeting which will be held on 27 March 2014.
For the Business Direction of 2014, CSL will continue the same strategy as year 2013, along with, expanding or developing new products/services to enhance its valuation and generating new additional revenue. The Business Direction of 2014 of each Business are as follows:
For ICT Business: Focuses on corporate client segment by offering a high quality integrated services or ONE-STOP ICT that enables sophisticated Internet connectivity, an Internet Data Center Services that come with 24hours Internet connection, an computer and network hardware setup and services (ICT Solution), and a Cloud Computing services, which had a strong growth.
For Voice & Mobile Content Services, Focuses on providing various integrated products offerings apart from horoscope services, such as SMS services for entertainment news or sport news etc. that meet users’ satisfaction, and developing more additional new online applications.
For YellowPages business: Focus on advertising integration between print media and online through mobile phone and internet, along with, putting more effort into focusing on publishing various new vertical books, such as “Aroi for Bangkok area” which was published during 1Q2013 – 3Q2013, or “Aroi for Thailand”, “Factory & Builder Guide”, “Fashion & Accessories Guide”, “Fixed Gang” which was published in 4Q2013, in parallel with, an efficiency in cost and SG&A control.
