Bangkok ASEAN Art and Culture Festival (BAAF) เทศกาลศิลปวัฒนธรรมอาเซียน กรุงเทพฯ คืออะไร?
หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร จัดเทศกาลศิลปวัฒนธรรมอาเซียน กรุงเทพฯ (BAAF) ขึ้น เพื่อเปิดพื้นที่การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ให้กับหน่วยงานทางศิลปวัฒนธรรม ศิลปิน และประชาชนทั่วไป และเพื่อกระตุ้นให้เกิดความตระหนักรู้ การมีส่วนร่วมในการก้าวเข้าสู่การเป็นประชาคมอาเซียน ในด้านประชาคมสังคมและวัฒนธรรม (ASCC) ตามแนวคิด “เลิกแข่งขัน เริ่มแบ่งปัน : Cooperation Not Competition”
เทศกาลศิลปวัฒนธรรมอาเซียน กรุงเทพฯ (BAAF) ภายใต้พันธกิจหลัก คือ การสร้างความเข้มแข็งระหว่างเครือข่ายด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม อาทิ หอศิลป์ หน่วยงานหรือสถาบันทางศิลปวัฒนธรรม และกลุ่มคนทำงานศิลปวัฒนธรรม เพื่อให้เกิดการร่วมพูดคุย แลกเปลี่ยน และระดมความคิดเห็นด้านข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับศิลปวัฒนธรรมอาเซียน การจัดกิจกรรมการศึกษา การแสดง นิทรรศการ และรวมรวมกิจกรรมด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรมของทุกเครือข่าย และสร้างเป็นแผนที่กิจกรรมเข้าไว้ด้วยกัน เพื่อสามารถร่วมกันต่อยอดองค์ความรู้ด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรมอาเซียน เตรียมรับการเชื่อมต่อกับนานาประเทศ พร้อมก้าวเข้าสู่ความเป็นประชาคมอาเซียน ในปี พ.ศ. 2558
Bangkok Art and Culture Centre has originated Bangkok ASEAN Art and Culture Festival (BAAF), with the main objective of opening up new perspective of exchanging and sharing ideas among art and cultural sectors, artists, cultural workers, as well as general public, in order to encourage awareness and participation for stepping into ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), with the theme of “Cooperation Not Competition”
Bangkok ASEAN Art and Culture Festival (BAAF)’s main mission is to strengthen cooperation and collaboration among art and cultural networks, as well as further knowledge through sharing and exchanging information and awareness about ASEAN art and culture, as resources for our future collaborative exhibitions. Performances, educational programs, and create an art and cultural events route-map together, in order to connect with international platform and be ready as part of ASEAN Community in 2015.
