ดีแทคจัดทัพเครือข่ายพร้อมรองรับบริการช่วงไฮซีซั่นปีใหม่ 2559

ดีแทคพร้อมแล้วเตรียมเครือข่ายมือถือรองรับเทศกาลส่งความสุขรับปีใหม่ 2559 และวันหยุดยาวช่วงสิ้นปีที่ประชาชนนิยมเดินทางท่องเที่ยว ซึ่งเป็นช่วงไฮซีซั่นที่มีความจำเป็นทั้งการติดต่อสื่อสารทั่วไปและส่งคำอวยพรผ่านมือถือ ดีแทคจัดรถโมบายล์ และอุปกรณ์เสริมสัญญาณในพื้นที่ต่างๆ ที่จัดงานเฉลิมฉลองปีใหม่ยอดนิยมทั่วประเทศ พร้อมทั้งขยายบริการดีแทค 4G, 3G และ 2G เพิ่มที่เทอร์มินัล 2 สนามบินดอนเมืองที่เพิ่งเปิดใช้งานรองรับเที่ยวบินในประเทศเรียบร้อย  ดีแทคยังจัดทีมดูแลเครือข่ายพิเศษช่วงเทศกาลทุกวัน ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง คาดปีนี้ส่งความสุขแบบออนไลน์ผ่านแอพพลิเคชั่นมาแรงรับกระแส 4G บูม

นายประเทศ ตันกุรานันท์ รองประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่มเทคโนโลยี บริษัท โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซ็ส คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือดีแทค กล่าวว่า “ทีมงานดูแลเครือข่ายมือถือพร้อมแล้วกับการให้บริการช่วงเทศกาลแห่งความสุขส่งท้ายปีเก่าต้อนรับปีใหม่ที่กำลังมาถึง โดยปีนี้คาดว่าคนจะนิยมใช้สมาร์ทโฟนส่งความสุขกันมากขึ้นรองรับกระแส 4G เติบโต และจากการที่ดีแทคเปิดให้บริการ 4G บนคลื่น 1800 MHz บนแบนด์วิธที่กว้างถึง 15 MHz ทำให้ความเร็วในการใช้งานมากขึ้นกว่าเคย เพิ่มประสบการณ์ใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตบนมือถือ โดยปีที่ผ่านมาช่วงส่งท้ายปีเก่าต้อนรับปีใหม่มีการใช้งานดาต้ามากกว่าการใช้งานปกติสูงถึง 3 เท่า และมีช่วงใช้งานดาต้าสูงสุดในช่วงเวลา 23.45-00.15 น. เมื่อวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2557 ถึง 1 มกราคม 2558 และมียอดการใช้งานสูงสุด ณ ช่วงเวลาหนึ่งถึงประมาณ 4 ล้านราย (Concurrent Users)”

สำหรับแผนการเตรียมพร้อมรองรับการใช้งานช่วงเทศกาลปีใหม่ ดีแทคได้มีการจัดเตรียมรถโมบายล์ อุปกรณ์เสริมเพิ่มสัญญาณ สมอลล์เซลล์ การปรับพารามิเตอร์ การเพิ่มช่องสัญญาณต่างๆ ให้เหมาะสมกับพื้นที่ที่มีการใช้งานหนาแน่น และพฤติกรรมการใช้งานมือถือในช่วงเทศกาลปีใหม่ โดยปีนี้ดีแทคได้แบ่งพื้นที่การดูและเป็น 3 ส่วนหลักเพื่อให้ครอบคลุมการใช้งานช่วงเทศกาลปีใหม่ ดังนี้

·      การรองรับการเดินทางผ่านระบบขนส่งเส้นทางหลัก (Transportation Hub) เช่น สนามบิน สถานีรถไฟ สถานีขนส่งต่างๆ โดยเฉพาะดีแทคได้เตรียมความพร้อมล่วงหน้ารองรับนักท่องเที่ยวและนักธุรกิจที่ต้องเดินทาง เช่น การเปิดให้บริการเครือข่ายดีแทค 4G, 3G และ 2G เรียบร้อยที่อาคาร 2 สนามบินดอนเมือง เพื่อรองรับการเดินทางที่หนาแน่นในช่วงเทศกาลปีใหม่ โดยอาคารแห่งนี้ได้เปิดให้บริการไปเมื่อวันที่ 24 ธันวาคม ที่ผ่านมา และรวมถึงการเตรียมพร้อมเครือข่ายที่สถานีขนส่งต่างๆ ที่เป็นศูนย์รวมการเดินทาง เป็นต้น

·      การรองรับเส้นทางการเดินทางบนถนนสายหลัก (Main Road) สำหรับผู้ที่เดินทางกลับยังภูมิลำเนา หรือเดินทางท่องเที่ยว โดยรถยนต์ รถบัสต่างๆ สู่ภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคกลาง ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้

·      การรองรับพื้นที่จัดกิจกรรมปีใหม่ (Event Hot Spot Area) ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่จัดกิจกรรมเคาท์ดาวน์ ตามสถานที่ยอดนิยมในกรุงเทพฯ และจังหวัดสำคัญที่เป็นศูนย์รวมกิจกรรมส่งท้ายปีเก่าต้อนรับปีใหม่

ทั้งนี้ ดีแทคได้มีการเตรียมทีมงานพิเศษตลอดช่วงเทศกาล เพื่อดูแลเครือข่ายการใช้งานเป็นอย่างดี ในช่วงเทศกาลส่งท้ายปีเก่าต้อนรับปีใหม่ที่กำลังจะมาถึงตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง ไม่มีวันหยุดเพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจให้กับลูกค้า โดยทีมงานจากดีแทคพร้อมจะแก้ไขปัญหาทันทีเพื่อให้ผู้ใช้งานดีแทคได้ใช้งานเพื่อติดต่อสื่อสารได้อย่างมั่นใจ

dtac gets the mobile network ready for New Year celebration 2016 and the long holiday-season travel. It is the period for high demand in communications as wishes can be sent via mobile phones. dtac prepares mobile base station vehicles and signal booster devices for all popular New Year celebration areas across the country. dtac also extends the 4G and 3G services at Don Muang Airport, Terminal 2, which has been recently opened for domestic flights. dtac sets up special supporting teams to serve the customers for 24 hours a day, every day during the holiday season. Mobile internet season’s greetings is expecting to be highly popular due to trendy 4G service.

Prathet Tankuranun, Chief Technology Officer, Total Access Communications PLC. or dtac, said “Network supporting team is ready to fully serve the customers during the New Year celebration. We expect that season’s greetings via smartphones will be very popular as the trend of 4G service is increasing. Also, dtac already started 4G service with 15 MHz bandwidth on 1800- MHz spectrum, which makes the mobile internet speed faster. During the New Year celebration of last year, data usage was increased 3 times, and the peak was at 23.45-00.15 hrs. on December 31, 2014 to January 1, 2015, maximum of 4 million concurrent users.”

To get ready for the upcoming New Year Festival, dtac has been preparing mobile base station vehicles, signal booster devices, small cell access points, parameter adjustments, channel expansions. These are attuned according to the areas with dense phone usage and mobile user behavior during festive holidays. This year, dtac has divided the plan into 3 categories for extensive coverage during New Year Celebration.

·        Plan for transportation hubs such as airports, train stations, and bus stations: dtac has prepared reliable networks for tourists and businesspersons, for example, 4G and 3G network expansions at Don Muang Airport, Terminal 2. This has been completed and ready to use since December 24 and more will continue for other transportation hubs.

·        Plan for main roads and highways: This is for people who travels back home or tourists to all regions of Thailand including Northern, Northeastern, Middle, Eastern, and Southern regions.

·        Plan for event hot spot area: This plan is for areas which are expected to hold New Year Countdown Celebration around Bangkok and important provinces.

Also, dtac has prepared special supporting teams ready throughout the festive period to take good care of our networks for 24 hours a day, so that customers will be in good hands with worry-free of technical problems. In case of any problem, the team will resolve it immediately so that customers can feel confident in using our services.
