คนดีแทครวมพลังสร้างสัญลักษณ์ "คลื่นครบ ลุยเต็มที่" หลังคว้าคลื่น 900 MHz จากประมูลล่าสุดที่จัดโดย กสทช. มั่นใจจะขยายสัญญาณครอบคลุมทุกพื้นที่ทั่วไทย โดยคลื่นย่านความถี่ต่ำจะมาเสริมการให้บริการคลื่นย่านความถี่สูงที่ดีแทคมีแถบคลื่นย่านความถี่สูงกว้างที่สุดในไทย วันนี้ดีแทคมุ่งมั่นเดินหน้าต่อไปพร้อมสัญญาว่าจะดูแลลูกค้าอย่างต่อเนื่อง มั่นใจจำนวนคลื่นความถี่ที่ถือครองรองรับการเติบโตการใช้งานดาต้าของลูกค้าทั่วประเทศ

นางอเล็กซานดรา ไรช์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซ็ส คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือดีแทค กล่าวว่า "การที่ดีแทคตัดสินใจลงทุนคว้าใบอนุญาต และเดินหน้าขยายโครงข่ายบนคลื่นความถี่ 900 MHz ในอีก 2 ปีข้างหน้านี้ เป็นการดำเนินกลยุทธ์สำคัญเพื่อสร้างความได้เปรียบในการแข่งขันระยะยาว พร้อมทั้งเสริมความแข่งแกร่งในการให้บริการและจุดยืนทางการตลาดที่มุ่งเน้นการให้บริการแก่ผู้ใช้งานครอบคลุมทั่วประเทศทั้งนี้ ดีแทคมั่นใจว่า จะสามารถขยายโครงข่ายบนคลื่นความถี่ 900 MHz ครอบคลุมการใช้งานได้เร็วกว่าตามประกาศหลักเกณฑ์และวิธีการอนุญาตให้ใช้คลื่นความถี่สำหรับกิจการโทรคมนาคมย่าน 900 MHz ของ กสทช. ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นเพียงส่วนหนึ่งของแผนการขยายโครงข่ายทั้งหมดของดีแทค ที่ผ่านมาเราสามารถเร่งขยายการให้บริการ 4G ของดีแทคเทอร์โบบนคลื่นความถี่ 2300 MHz ของทีโอที ได้อย่างรวดเร็ว คาดว่าจะครอบคลุมพื้นที่ทั่วประเทศในต้นปีหน้า ควบคู่ไปกับขณะนี้เราขยายโครงข่ายเพื่อให้บริการ 3G บนคลื่นความถี่ 2100 MHz ได้มากถึงเกือบ 90% เพื่อให้เรามั่นใจได้ว่า ลูกค้าของดีแทคจะสามารถใช้บริการอินเทอร์เน็ตทั้ง 4G และ 3G ได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง และไม่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการสิ้นสุดสัมปทานคลื่นความถี่บางส่วน"

·      คลื่น 900 MHz จำนวน 10 MHz (หรือ 2x5 MHz)

·      คลื่น 1800 MHz จำนวน 10 MHz (หรือ 2x5 MHz)

·      คลื่น 2100 MHz จำนวน 30 MHz (หรือ 2x15 MHz)

·      คลื่น 2300 MHz จำนวน 60 MHz (คลื่นทีโอที 1x60 MHz ที่ดีแทคเป็นพันธมิตรให้บริการ)

วันนี้ ดีแทคได้คลื่น 900 MHz จากการประมูลที่จัดโดย กสทช. มาเพิ่มในการให้บริการ ทำให้ดีแทคได้มีคลื่นมากพอที่จะให้บริการลูกค้าอย่างต่อเนื่องพร้อมทั้งรองรับอนาคตอย่างมั่นใจ ทั้งนี้ ปัจจุบัน ดีแทคได้ถือครองคลื่นความถี่ครบทั้ง คลื่นความถี่ต่ำ (low-band spectrum) และ คลี่นความถี่สูง (high-band spectrum) ที่พร้อมให้บริการทั้งในเมืองและพื้นที่ห่างไกลเพื่อลูกค้าทุกคน

Organized by the NBTC yesterday, the license auction ensures dtac will continuously serve customers across the country without any disruptions. The low-band spectrum completes dtac high-band holdings, which are the largest in Thailand, ensuring dtac is now well-positioned to offer both far-reaching coverage and wide capacity for Thai users' rapidly increasing data usage.

Mrs. Alexandra Reich, Chief Executive Officer, Total Access Communication PLC. or dtac said "We will upgrade our 850 MHz sites to 900 MHz at a very rapid pace and well beyond the requirements by NBTC. In parallel, we have been expanding service on dtac Turbo faster than ever by adding hundreds of new sites every week. And our 3G on 2100 MHz is already reaching 90 percent of the population. We can assure our customers can use mobile internet on 4G and 3G continually and without any service disruptions from the end of concession period.."

The celebration "Full Spectrum, Fast Forward" highlights that dtac has frequencies with a total bandwidth of 110 MHz

·       10 MHz of bandwidth on the 900 MHz spectrum (or 2x5MHz)

·       10 MHz of bandwidth on the 1800 MHz spectrum (or 2x5MHz)

·       30 MHz of bandwidth on the 2100 MHz spectrum (or 2x15MHz)

·       60 MHz of bandwidth on the 2300 MHz spectrum (TOT and dtac partnership and 1x60MHz)

Today, dtac received the 900 MHz spectrum from the auction arranged by the NBTC. This ensures dtac have adequate spectrum to assure customers of uninterrupted services now and in the future. Currently, dtac possesses both low- and high-band spectrum that are ready to serve all customers in urban and remote areas.
