          นายนัตดา บุรณศิริ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารสายการบินไทยแอร์เอเชีย เอ็กซ์ กล่าวว่า เรายังยืนยันและตอกย้ำความเป็นผู้นำสายการบินราคาประหยัดระยะไกล ที่มีเครือข่ายเส้นทางบินครอบคลุมภูมิภาคต่างๆ ในประเทศญี่ปุ่น ล่าสุดกับเส้นทางใหม่สู่เมืองนาโกย่า ซึ่งเป็นเส้นทางสู่ญี่ปุ่นเส้นทางที่ 4 ของไทยแอร์เอเชีย เอ็กซ์(เที่ยวบินรหัส XJ) เสริมทัพเส้นทางโตเกียว โอซาก้า และซัปโปโรที่เพิ่งเปิดให้บริการไปเมื่อเดือนเมษายนที่ผ่านมา ทั้งนี้ เชื่อมั่นว่าเส้นทาง ดอนเมือง-นาโกย่า จะได้รับความนิยมจากนักท่องเที่ยวไม่แพ้เส้นทางอื่นๆ เพราะด้วยความหลากหลายของแหล่งท่องเที่ยว ทั้งในเมืองนาโกย่าและเมืองใกล้เคียง ทำให้นาโกย่าซึ่งเป็นประตูสู่ภาคกลางของญี่ปุ่นมีความน่าสนใจและมีศักยภาพในการเติบโตได้อีกมาก ทั้งนี้ มองว่านาโกย่าจะช่วยส่งเสริมข้อได้เปรียบของไทยแอร์เอเชีย เอ็กซ์ ในเรื่องของเครือข่ายเส้นทางที่ครอบคลุมทั่วญี่ปุ่น อีกทั้งเป็นการเพิ่มทางเลือกให้กับผู้โดยสารให้สามารถจัดสรรการเดินทางได้ยืดหยุ่นมากขึ้น เช่น สามารถเลือกบินลงนาโกย่าและบินกลับจากซัปโปโรหรือบินไปโตเกียวแล้วขึ้นเครื่องกลับจากนาโกย่าก็ได้เช่นกัน

          นายฮิเดกิ โอมูระ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดไอจิ กล่าวว่า ผมขอต้อนรับเส้นทางใหม่ของไทยแอร์เอเชีย เอ็กซ์ ซึ่งจะเป็นสายการบินราคาประหยัดสายการบินแรกที่เปิดเส้นทางสู่กรุงเทพฯ ในขณะเดียวกันท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติชูบุเซ็นแทรร์จะมีเส้นทางเชื่อมโยงกับเครือข่ายเส้นทางบินที่ครอบคลุมภูมิภาคเอเชียมากที่สุดของแอร์เอเชีย ทั้งนี้ ผมคาดว่าเส้นทางใหม่จะทำให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนทางธุรกิจและการท่องเที่ยวระหว่างประเทศไทยและภาคกลางของญี่ปุ่นมากขึ้น

          นายทาคาชิ คาวามูระ นายกเทศบาลนครนาโกย่า กล่าวว่า ขอแสดงความยินดีกับไทยแอร์เอเชีย เอ็กซ์ เมืองนาโกย่าและประเทศไทยมีประวัติศาสตร์ร่วมกันอย่างยาวนาน ซึ่งผมมองว่าทั้งสองประเทศจะมีการแลกเปลี่ยนกันในด้านต่างๆที่คึกคักมากขึ้น ทั้งนี้ ผมหวังว่าแอร์เอเชียจะเติบโตมากขึ้นในฐานะสายการบินประจำเมืองนาโกย่าของเรา
