รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลังมาเลเซีย ข้าราชการ นักธุรกิจ และ Kuala Lumpur Business Club พบปะ พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ นายกรัฐมตรี รัฐมนตรี และหน่วยงานกำกับดูแลของไทย กระชับความสัมพันธ์ทางธุรกิจระหว่างกัน

ดาตุ๊ก ซรี โจฮารี กาห์นิ  รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง ประเทศมาเลเซีย นำคณะผู้แทนซึ่งประกอบด้วยกลุ่มข้าราชการ และบุคคลสำคัญจากแวดวงธุรกิจต่าง ๆ ของมาเลเซีย พร้อมด้วยสมาชิกชมรมธุรกิจกัวลาลัมเปอร์ (Kuala Lumpur Business Club: KLBC) จำนวน 29 คน นำทีมโดย เต็งกู ดาโต๊ะ ศรี ซาฟรูล์ อาซิส ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่มซีไอเอ็มบี ในฐานะประธานชมรม KLBC เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะพลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี พร้อมนายสมคิด จาตุศรีพิทักษ์ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี นายอภิศักดิ์ ตันติวรวงศ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง และข้าราชการระดับสูงและหน่วยงานกำกับดูแลของไทย เพื่อพัฒนาต่อยอดความร่วมมือทางการค้าและการลงทุน รวมทั้งกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมาเลเซียและไทยที่ดีอยู่แล้วให้ดียิ่งขึ้นไปอีก

 
กรุงเทพฯ - ดาตุ๊ก ซรี โจฮารี กาห์นิ  รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง ประเทศมาเลเซีย นำคณะผู้แทนซึ่งประกอบด้วยกลุ่มข้าราชการ และบุคคลสำคัญจากแวดวงธุรกิจต่าง ๆ ของมาเลเซีย พร้อมด้วยสมาชิกชมรมธุรกิจกัวลาลัมเปอร์ (Kuala Lumpur Business Club: KLBC) จำนวน 29 คน เดินทางมากรุงเทพฯ เพื่อดำเนินกิจกรรมทางธุรกิจเป็นเวลา 3 วัน โดยมุ่งเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางธุรกิจและความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างมาเลเซียและไทย นอกจากนี้ ดาตุ๊ก ซรี โจฮารี กาห์นิ ยังได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะพลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี พร้อมนายสมคิด จาตุศรีพิทักษ์รองนายกรัฐมนตรี และนายอภิศักดิ์ ตันติวรวงศ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง และข้าราชการระดับสูงและหน่วยงานกำกับดูแลของไทย

ดาตุ๊ก ซรี โจฮารี กาห์นิ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง มาเลเซีย กล่าวว่า “มาเลเซียและไทยเป็นคู่ค้าสำคัญ ซึ่งมียอดการค้ารวมกว่า 20,000 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐในปี 2559 สะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจที่แข็งแกร่ง ในการเดินทางมาในครั้งนี้ เรามุ่งหวังที่จะพัฒนาต่อยอดความร่วมมือทางการค้าและการลงทุน รวมทั้งกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมาเลเซียและไทยที่ดีอยู่แล้วให้ดียิ่งขึ้นไปอีก นับเป็นโอกาสอันดีที่เราได้เข้าร่วมหารือกับนายกรัฐมนตรีไทยและคณะรัฐมนตรี และแจ้งให้ทราบว่ามาเลเซียพร้อมต้อนรับการเข้ามาของนักลงทุนไทย ซึ่งการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสองประเทศนี้เป็นนิมิตหมายอันดีต่อความสำเร็จของการรวมตัวกันของประเทศในอาเซียนอีกด้วย จากการก่อตั้งประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน เรามุ่งมั่นที่จะเปิดตลาดให้กว้างขึ้น สร้างโอกาสเพิ่มเติม รวมถึงกำจัดกำแพงทางการค้า และส่งเสริมธุรกิจท้องถิ่นให้ก้าวสู่ระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลกมากยิ่งขึ้น”

เต็งกู ดาโต๊ะ ศรี ซาฟรูล์ อาซิส ประธานชมรม KLBC กล่าวว่า “ขณะที่ตลาดโลกเริ่มตระหนักถึงบทบาทสำคัญของเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน มาเลเซียและไทยซึ่งมีเศรษฐกิจที่แข็งแกร่งในภูมิภาคและเป็นเพื่อนบ้านที่มีสัมพันธภาพทางการฑูตมายาวนานถึง 60 ปี พร้อมที่จะเติบโตสอดรับกับเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนที่เติบโตเต็มศักยภาพ ทั้งนี้ ชมรม KLBC ขอร่วมมีส่วนสร้างโอกาสให้ผู้นำองค์กรชั้นนำต่าง ๆ จากทั้งสองประเทศได้ร่วมแบ่งปัน ค้นหา และหารือโอกาสทางธุรกิจใหม่ระหว่างสองประเทศ”

เต็งกู ซาฟรูล์ ยังได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในฐานะประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่มซีไอเอ็มบี ซึ่งร่วมกับสถาบันผู้นำและกลยุทธ์อาเซียน (Asian Leadership and Strategy Institute: ASLI) ของมาเลเซีย สภาธุรกิจมาเลเซีย-ไทย และสภาธุรกิจไทย-มาเลเซีย จัดการประชุมทางธุรกิจในวันที่ 14 กันยายน โดยมีผู้นำธุรกิจชื่อดังจากทั้งสองประเทศเข้าร่วมงานและแบ่งปันทัศนะเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้าระหว่างมาเลเซียและไทย รวมถึงความท้าทายและโอกาสที่ได้รับจากการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจของอาเซียน รวมถึงอิทธิพลของโครงการริเริ่มหนึ่งแถบหนึ่งเส้นทาง (Belt and Road Initiative) ของจีนในการหล่อหลอมเศรษฐกิจโลกใหม่ และผลักดันเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนให้เติบโตไปอย่างมีพลวัต

กิจกรรมทางธุรกิจในครั้งนี้ยังรวมถึงการเข้าเยี่ยมตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย และพิพิธภัณฑ์เรียนรู้การลงทุน ซึ่งเป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์เรียนรู้การลงทุนแห่งแรกของไทย

Malaysia’s Finance Minister II and Kuala Lumpur Business Club Strengthen Business Ties with Thailand



BANGKOK: The Malaysian Minister of Finance II, His Hon. Datuk Seri Johari Ghani led a delegation comprising 29 high-profile Malaysian government officials, industry captains and members of the Kuala Lumpur Business Club (KLBC), on a three-day business mission to Bangkok to further strengthen business relations and economic cooperation between Malaysia and Thailand. During the business mission, Datuk Seri Johari Ghani also paid a courtesy call on Thailand’s Prime Minister, H.E Prayuth Chan-ocha; Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Somkid Jatusripitak, Minister of Finance H.E. Apisak Tantivorawong, and other high-level Thai government officials and regulators.

Datuk Seri Johari Ghani, Minister of Finance II, Malaysia said “Malaysia and Thailand are important trade partners, with a combined total trade of more than USD20 billion in 2016, which is testament to the strong economic cooperation between the two countries. Through this mission, we look forward to further trade and investment cooperation, to strengthen the already strong bilateral ties between Malaysia and Thailand. We had a fruitful discussion with the Thai Prime Minister and his officials, who were informed that Malaysia will always welcome more Thai investments in Malaysia. The strengthening of the bilateral ties also bodes well with the overall spirit of ASEAN’s integration. Through the establishment of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) for example, we strive to open up the market further, creating more opportunities, removing trade barriers and increase the meaningful participation of local players at the global and regional levels.”

Tengku Dato’ Sri Zafrul Aziz, President of KLBC said “As the global market begins to recognize ASEAN’s economic importance, both Malaysia and Thailand – being not just more advanced economies in this region but also immediate neighbours with 60 years of diplomatic relations – are well-poised to thrive as ASEAN begins to realise its full economic potential. KLBC is pleased to facilitate this opportunity for top corporate leaders from both countries to share, explore and discuss more business prospects between both countries.”

Tengku Zafrul was also there in his capacity as Group Chief Executive of CIMB Group, which, together with Malaysia-based Asian Leadership and Strategy Institute (ASLI), Malaysia-Thailand Business Council, and the Thailand-Malaysia Business Council jointly organised a business forum on 14 September. The forum was attended by prominent business leaders from both countries, who shared their insights on expanding Malaysia-Thailand trade ties, the challenges and opportunities afforded by ASEAN’s growing economic clout, and how China’s ambitious Belt and Road initiative would shape the new global economy, and set ASEAN countries on a more dynamic growth trajectory. The business mission also included a visit to the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the Investory, which is the first Investment Discovery Museum in Thailand.
