วิดีโอซีรีย์ชุด “Grow Your Success” ของแมคควอรี เป็นการสัมภาษณ์นักลงทุน 3 คน ซึ่ง ประกอบด้วย คุณฟลุค เกริกพล มัสยวาณิช นักแสดง นักธุรกิจ และนักลงทุน ที่บอกเล่าถึงความสำเร็จในการลงทุนใน DW และเหตุผลอะไรที่ทำให้คุณฟลุคเลือกที่จะลงทุนใน DW เพื่อต่อยอดการลงทุน วิดีโอที่ 2 เป็นการสัมภาษณ์ คุณมานพ ศรีชู พนักงานประจำผู้ผันตัวมาเป็น Full-time trader ซึ่งได้เผยถึงเทคนิคพิเศษรวมถึงเครื่องมือที่เขาใช้ในการลงทุนใน DW นอกจากนี้ยังมีคุณ ป้อม วัฒนา ชื่นจิตรวงษา นักลงทุนผู้คร่ำหวอดในตลาดทุนมากว่า 8 ปี และยังเป็นเจ้าของ Facebook page “Wattana Stock Page” ที่จะมาเปิดเผยเคล็ดลับความสำเร็จในการลงทุนใน DW พร้อมกับ 4 วิดีโอสอนเทคนิคในการเทรด DW



นายนพดล ดวงทิพย์เนตร ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายธุรกิจตราสารอนุพันธ์ บริษัทหลักทรัพย์แมคควอรี (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด เปิดเผยถึงการเติบโตของตลาด DW ในประเทศไทย โดยจะเห็นได้ว่าตลอด 3 ปีที่ผ่านมามูลค่าการซื้อขาย DW มีการเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่องจาก 2.1% เป็น 5.3% ของมูลค่าการซื้อขายทั้งตลาด เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับฮ่องกง ซึ่งเป็นตลาด DW ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในภูมิภาค ที่มีมูลค่าการซื้อขายมากกว่า 16.8 % ของมูลค่าการซื้อขายรวมทั้งตลาด ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการเติบโตที่สูงของตลาด DW ในไทย “เราเชื่อว่าตลาด DW ในประเทศไทยจะเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่องเนื่องจากนักลงทุนเล็งเห็นถึงข้อได้เปรียบจากการลงทุนใน DW” โดยกลุ่มนักลงทุนที่เข้ามาลงทุนใน DW ส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในช่วงวัยทำงานอายุระหว่าง 25-40 ปี ซึ่งต้องการต่อยอดความสำเร็จในการลงทุนมากยิ่งขึ้นโดยการใช้ DW เป็นเครื่องมือช่วยสร้างพอร์ตลงทุนให้เติบโต

Macquarie Securities (Thailand) Limited connects with Thailand investors by launching the first installment in its "Grow Your Success" video series to increase awareness about DWs (Derivative Warrants). The tutorials feature real investors sharing their secrets and strategies for DW investment, aimed at simplifying DW investment for the average investor.




Macquarie’s “Grow Your Success” tutorials feature interviews with three investors, including Fluke Krirkphol Masayavanich, a full time actor, business owner and part time investor, who talks about his experience in trading and why he prefers DW as an investment tool to boost his returns. The second interview features Manop Srichu, a young Salaryman who left his job to pursue trading as a full time career. He trades DW regularly and reveals his tools and special tips. The series is completed with four tutorials from Pom Wattana Cheunjitwongsa, a professional trader and well known investment blogger, who drills down into some of the more technical topics and his secrets to success in DW trading.

The investors joined Mr. Noppadon Duangthipnest, Associate Director and Head of Derivative Sales for Macquarie in Thailand, at the Stock Exchange of Thailand today to address a crowd at the launch event for “Grow Your Success”. Mr. Noppadon Duangthipnest talked about the growth of the DW market in Thailand, pointing out that the market has increased significantly during the past three years, growing from 2.1% to 5.3% of total market turnover. “We believe the DW market in Thailand will continue to grow as investors learn about the advantages of DWs. The majority of investors in DW are working people aged between 25 and 40. This group of people want to maximize their investment returns  and see  DW as a tool to help them reach their goals” In Hong Kong, the largest warrant market in the region, DW trading represents more than 20% of the total market, showing that the potential growth for DW in Thailand is high.

Macquarie is one of the largest DW issuers in Asia, as the only DW issuer with a presence in more than two DW markets. “Macquarie was the first issuer to launch a DW in the Asia Pacific more than 25 years ago. In DW markets there are a few key factors that tend to separate the top issuers from the rest, the most important of these is market making. Investors want tight spreads and high liquidity to quickly enter and exit their trades. The issuers who are able to consistently deliver a high level of service over time are the ones that stand out from the rest and are favored by investors. In order to be a top issuer, providers need to invest heavily into sophisticated market making systems and need experienced staff to operate and maintain them. Another key factor is the DW terms. Investors in Thailand typically favour DW that are 2-4 months in maturity and provide a high level of effective gearing. “Investors also prefer DW with a low ‘sensitivity’ ratio. Meaning they are highly sensitive to movements in the underlying stock. Macquarie always aim to provide investors with DW that suit these preferences” said Mr. Noppadon Duangthipnest.

Macquarie feels strongly that enhancing investment knowledge is another key to success and is always looking to further investor education efforts in DW. In addition to the "Grow Your Success" project, Macquarie has launched a new website, www.thaidw.com, which is aimed at educating investors as they use it, including an informative portal and many useful tools.
