นายอุทัย อุทัยแสงสุข รองกรรมการผู้จัดการอาวุโส สายงานพัฒนาธุรกิจและพัฒนาโครงการ คอนโดมิเนียม บริษัท แสนสิริ จำกัด (มหาชน) เปิดเผยว่า ตลาดอสังหาริมทรัพย์ในพื้นที่จังหวัดขอนแก่นมีทิศทางที่ดีขึ้น จากปัจจัยบวกสนับสนุนของภาครัฐที่มีแผนพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านการคมนาคมขนส่งในพื้นที่จังหวัดขอนแก่น ทั้งทางบกและทางอากาศ ได้แก่ โครงการรถไฟรางคู่ เส้นทางช่วงชุมทางถนนจิระ- ขอนแก่น ระยะทาง 187 กิโลเมตร ซึ่งขณะนี้การก่อสร้างคืบหน้าแล้วประมาณ 22% ถือว่าเร็วกว่าแผนงาน 0.47% เพื่อให้การก่อสร้างรวดเร็วเสร็จทันตามกำหนดภายในปี 2561-2562 โดยคาดว่าหากโครงการแล้วเสร็จและเปิดให้บริการ จะเปลี่ยนการขนส่งทางถนนไปสู่รางมากขึ้น โดยมีผู้โดยสารใช้บริการ 27,200-38,800 คนต่อวัน และเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 37,000-55,000 คนต่อวัน ขณะที่ปริมาณขนส่งสินค้าที่ผ่านเส้นทางประมาณ 10,900-11,300 ตันต่อวัน จะเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 36,400 ตันต่อวัน ภายในปี 2577 ช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการเดินทางและขนส่งสินค้า รวมทั้งระบบโลจิสติกส์ของประเทศ สามารถรองรับการเดินทางและขนส่งสินค้าทางรถไฟในเส้นทางสายตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ รวมถึงยังมีแผนเร่งขยายสนามบินขอนแก่นให้เร็วขึ้นภายในปี 2561 โดยจะสร้างอาคารผู้โดยสารหลังใหม่ ลานจอด อาคารจอดรถ เพื่อยกระดับเป็นสนามบินนานาชาติ

นอกจากนี้ยังมีโครงการขนส่งมวลชนรถไฟฟ้าระบบรางเบา (LRT) ที่จะพัฒนาขึ้นเพื่อลดปัญหาการจราจรติดขัด และทำให้การเดินทางสะดวกสบายมากขึ้น นับเป็นจังหวัดแรกที่จะมีรถไฟฟ้าขนส่งมวลชนนอกเหนือจากกรุงเทพฯ โดยจะเปิดใช้บริการในปี 2563 นำร่องเส้นทางแนวเหนือ-ใต้ ถนนมิตรภาพ ช่วงบ้านสำราญ-บ้านท่าพระ ระยะทาง 22.6 กม. มีทั้งหมด 16 สถานี ซึ่งจะมีสถานีแยกประตูเมือง (เซ็นทรัล) ผ่านด้านหน้าโครงการเดอะ เบส ไฮท์ มิตรภาพ – ขอนแก่น ทำให้ลูกค้าโครงการฯเดินทางสะดวกมากยิ่งขึ้น

‘THE BASE Height Mittraphap-Khonkaen’ 80% sold! Thanks to SRT double track railway to Khon Kaen by 2019





Sansiri Public Company Limited is revelling in the seller’s market in Khon Kaen Province due to many government’s transport infrastructure projects, namely, the Chira Junction-Khon Kaen SRT double-track railway to be completed in 2019 that will support the passenger traffic and efficient rail-based cargo transport throughout the Northeast and the expansion of Khon Kaen Airport with a new passenger terminal building, apron and car park building, to elevate the airport to international level and welcome more tourists. Another project is the construction of the LRT (Light Rail Transit) system which will open to the public in 2020. The number of train passengers is projected to rise from 27,200-38,800 persons/day to 37,00-55,000 persons/day and the conveyance of freight on this route will increase from the current 10,900-11,300 tons/day to 36,400 tons/day by the year 2044.

This will help to improve passenger travel and freight transport as well as the country’s logistical advantage through rail transportation to the Northeast much more efficiently. At the same time a plan is also in place to expand Khon Kaen Airport to be completed in 2018 with a new passenger terminal, apron and car park building to elevate the airport to international status.

In addition, the new LRT line now under construction will help to alleviate traffic congestion problem and facilitate more convenient commute. Khon Kaen city will be Thailand’s first metropolis outside of Bangkok to have a proper rail-based mass transit system that will be completed and ready for service in 2020. The first line will run North-South for 22.6 kilometres connecting Baan Samran and Baan Thaphra with a total of 16 stations. The Pratumuang (Central Plaza) Station will be right next to “THE BASE Height Mittraphap-Khonkaen” condominium, thus providing the utmost transportation convenience for the residents.
