CIMB Receives Bank of Thailand's Approval for Kittiphun Anutarasoti as President/CEO of CIMB Thai
Bangkok - CIMB Thai Bank PCL (CIMB Thai) has obtained approval from Bank of Thailand for the appointment of Khun Kittiphun Anutarasoti as President/CEO of CIMB Thai. He will be taking over from Khun Subhak Siwaraksa who has expressed his wish to retire.
Khun Kittiphun will be joining CIMB Thai as President/CEO on 19 October 2016. Khun Subhak will be appointed as Advisor to the Group Chief Executive, CIMB Group, on 19 October 2016. Plans are already in place to ensure a smooth leadership transition from Khun Subhak, whose seven-year tenure as President/CEO of the Bank saw him resolving various legacy issues and subsequently placing CIMB Thai on a new strategic path.
Khun Kittiphun brings with him a wealth of banking experience, having served in various key business positions in Thailand with three global banks and two of the largest Thai banks. Khun Kittiphun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and an MBA from Saint Louis University, USA.
