กรุงเทพฯ 11 พฤษภาคม 2559 - Uber ประเทศไทยจับมือกับดีแทคผู้ให้บริการด้านดิจิทัล เปิดตัวแคมเปญ "Uber – dtac Super 4G Free Wi-Fi" ครั้งแรกในเมืองไทย ด้วยการมอบประสบการณ์การใช้งานบนโครงข่ายดีแทคกับบริการ Super 4G  สปีดอีกขั้นของ 4G ที่มีความเร็วมากขึ้น 3 เท่าบนคลื่น 1800 MHz  ในรถ uberX และ UberBLACK กว่า 200 คันให้แก่ลูกค้า Uber ฟรีตลอดการเดินทางเริ่มให้บริการตั้งแต่วันที่ 10 พฤษภาคมนี้เป็นต้นไป  และสิทธิพิเศษสำหรับลูกค้า  BLUE MEMBER รับบริการรถรับ-ส่งสนามบินฟรี 2 ครั้ง/ปี เริ่มให้บริการตั้งแต่วันที่ 3 พฤษภาคม ที่ผ่านมา
 
ในตลาดโลก Uber ให้บริการครอบคลุมมากกว่า 400 เมือง ใน 69 ประเทศ ด้วยจำนวนผู้ร่วมขับมากกว่า 1.2 ล้านราย และผู้โดยสารมากกว่า 10 ล้านราย ในช่วง 12 เดือนที่ผ่านมา  และ Uber ในประเทศไทยมีผู้สนใจเข้าเป็นผู้ร่วมขับ Uber เพิ่มขึ้นถึง 6 เท่า เพื่อรองรับความต้องการของผู้โดยสารที่เติบโตขึ้นในทุกๆวัน
