AirAsia Continues Adding Domestic Routes with Direct Flights from U-Tapao to Chiang Mai and Hat Yai at Promotional Fares of Only 590 THB per way*!
AirAsia continues to expand its extensive network of domestic routes with additions to U-Tapao Airport, its fifth domestic flight base, flying direct from Pattaya (U-Tapao) to Chiang Mai and Hat Yai, connecting the East to both the North and South for greater travel options. The airline continues to build on the success of the U Tapao-Udon Thani route that bridged the region and the Northeast.
Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia, pointed out that the new additions will allow for greater domestic travel options, noting that both Chiang Mai and Hat Yai are popular destinations for Thai and foreign travelers alike. With Pattaya already a varied and attractive tourist destination with both natural and cultural attractions, the added routes are sure to stimulate travel.
AirAsia is introducing the routes at a promotional fare starting at only 590 THB per way. U-Tapao-Chiang Mai will be available 10 times weekly (2 flights daily except on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays where flights will be available 1 time daily). Bookings are available today to 15 November 2015 for travel from 27 November 2015 to 29 October 2016.
With the additional route, Thai AirAsia will effectively be launching a total of 4 new flights on 27 November 2015, including U-Tapao-Chiang Mai, U-Tapao-Singapore, U-Tapao-Macau and U-Tapao-Udon Thani.
U-Tapao-Hat Yai will be available 4 times weekly (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), also at a promotional fare starting at 590 THB per way. Booking will be available from 2-15 November 2015 for travel from 3 December 2015 to 29 October 2016. All together, AirAsia will be operating 8 routes from U-Tapao Airport including flights to Nanning, Nan Chang, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Singapore, Udon Thani, Chiang Mai and Hat Yai.
