CS LoxInfo reports a net profit for 1HF2015 of 162 million Baht or 0.27 Baht per share
CS LoxInfo Plc. ("The Company") had consolidated revenue of 1,480 million Baht for 1HF2015, a decrease of 58 million Baht or 8% from 1HF2014 and had consolidated net profit of 162 million Baht or 0.27 Baht per share for 1HF2015, a decrease of 56 million Baht or 26% from 1HF2014. This resulted from the softening economy and lower purchasing power, parallel with change of customers' behavior, which was directly impacted to sales and services revenues of Voice Info Services and Mobile Content Business.
Otherwise, for 1HF2015 performance of the Separated financial statements (ICT Business segment), CS LoxInfo Plc. had a net profit of 170 million Baht or 0.29 Baht per share, which comprised of-Net profit from operations of 125 million Baht, an increase of 7 million Baht or 6% over 1HF2014. This resulted from a continual growth of core products/services, especially in Internet Data Center Service and ICT & Cloud Service.
Dividend received from its subsidiary of 45 million Baht
Thus, at the CS LoxInfo Plc. Board of Directors' meeting held on 7 August 2015, the Board of Directors passed a resolution to approve an interim dividend payment from its operations for the six-month period of 2015 to the Company's shareholders at the rate of 0.24 Baht per share.
The outlook for the second half of 2015, the company will putting more effort to focus on sales in niche market, especially in ICT Business such as internet connection services, ICT Solution and cloud computer services, data center services, in parallel with, continue to expand the investments on high-speed Internet services in specific areas. The first phase has served to the condominium in Sukhumvit Areas during the first half of year 2015, which has a good response from users.
As the current economic growth continues to slow and the customers' behavior has changed, The Voice Info Services & Mobile Content Services Business is currently focusing on selected/developing new contents to provide a variety of services in order to attract consumers' wants and usages, parallel with, developing various new applications for smart phones users and expending to corporate segment.
