THE NEXT AIS MOVING TOWARDS DIGITAL LIFE SERVICE PROVIER UNDER LEADERSHIP OF CEO SOMCHAI LERTSUTIWONG
AIS steps towards the Next AIS period when CEO Wichian Mektrakarn hands over the baton to CEO Somchai Lertsutiwong, amidst the competition in the Digital Life Age, proceeding to secure market leader position, win customers’ heart and evolve to be a Digital Life Service Provider.
AIS announces the appointment of new CEO Mr. Somchai Lertsutiwong, in replacement of Mr. Wichian Mektrakarn who has retired this year, with effective on July 1, 2014. Khun Somchai addressed after his administration becomes official. “I am extremely proud and thank the Company for the opportunity awarded to an internal person growing from operational functions to achieve CEO office. The overall challenge of telecommunication industry in the Age of Digital is to develop telecommunication infrastructure for the industry on a timely basis in order to meet demand of people from every target group and occupation, while supporting competitiveness for Thailand in the international league. So far, we have to thank NBTC for placing importance to proper allocation of resources to develop this industry. We expect continual actions of NBTC to manage National frequency resource to benefit and enhance capabilities of country’s infrastructure in the near future.”
