Siam Yamaha Music Co., Ltd. reveals its operating results in 2013 with 1.5 billion baht revenue plus target its business strategies in 2014 to become the best in international music with the new image of school under the name “Yamaha Music School” to welcome AEC. Ms.Pranapda Phornprapha President Siam Yamaha Music Co., Ltd., revealed that “Currently, the company is regarded as the true leader in music business. Our business is divided into 2 main segments including importing and distributing “Yamaha” instruments from Japan which include musical instruments from Yamaha which are market leaders in almost all instruments such as piano, keyboard, drums, flutes, clarinets, and string instruments, Professional Audio product group with sound systems (both external and internal), and Audio & Visual group with home theatre, HIFI stereo, etc., Music Education business by managing and supervising Yamaha Music School across the country plus coming up with high standard courses used at the school. This year, the company has a policy to enhance its leading positioning and will be focusing on changing the image of the schools to be more modern while ensuring the same standard is applied consistently to all schools (to be similar to schools in 45 other countries in the world) in order to welcome AEC and to align with the growth of music school business domestically and internationally. In 2014, the company has set the target of 5% growth or 1.57 billion baht total revenue while the marketing efforts will be focusing on music education business with the plan to change the image of the school to be more modern under the new name “Yamaha Music School” which includes alignment in standard of the schools with schools in other 45 countries worldwide to welcome AEC and also focusing on supporting incoming students, instructors, and courses which have become much broader as all the dots in all of the countries are better linked under the slogan “One brand One Standard.

For the marketing strategy of music education business in 2014, Yamaha Music School is very strong in it courses and education system called “Yamaha Music Worldwide Education System” that is the world-class standard that has been consistently developed by Yamaha Music Foundation in Japan and has been used in Yamaha Music School in more than 45 countries worldwide. This year, there has been an addition of the English program taught by internationally recruited instructors from overseas to welcome AEC. At the same time, the highlight course, which is offered only at Yamaha School, is Junior Music Course (JMC) for kids aged 3-6 years old focusing on overall music knowledge with the help of music instruments to develop the kids’ skill in different ages. JMC is taught by highly qualified instructors only.
