Thailand now is the one of 10 cities to host FIA Formula E Championship 2014

เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ ฟอร์มูลา อี โฮลดิ้งส์ (Formula E Holdings) ได้จัดงานเปิดตัวนวัตกรรมยานยนต์แห่งอนาคต Formula E จากประเทศอังกฤษ เป็นรถแข่งระบบไฟฟ้าต้นแบบคันแรก คันเดียว นำมาจัดแสดงในประเทศไทยเป็นแห่งแรกในเอเชีย ขณะเดียวกัน ฟอร์มูลา อี โฮลดิ้งส์ (Formula E Holdings) ในฐานะผู้จัดงาน FIA Formula E Championship 2014 ได้ประกาศให้ประเทศไทยเป็น 1 ใน 10 เมืองจากทั่วโลก ใช้เป็นสนามจัดการแข่งขันและเป็นเจ้าภาพร่วม เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษา 86 พรรษา ในปี พ.ศ. 2556 โดยมีแผนที่จะมีการสาธิตขับจริงโดยนักแข่งรถระดับโลก นาย ลูคัส ดิ กราสซี่ (Mr. Lucas Di Grassi) ในช่วงปลายปี

Recently, Formula E Holdings launched the new innovation of racing technology, called Formula E, from United Kingdom, as the one only electric car and make its first appearance in ASIA at Bangkok Thailand. Moreover Formula E Holdings announced Thailand as the one of ten cities around the word to host the FIA Formula E Championship 2014 in honour of His Majesty the King’s 86th birthday. As well, Formula E Holdings plan to roadshow with Mr. Lucas Di Grassi and new Formula E car during this year before the racing in the year 2014.

จุดเด่น Formula E สามารถเร่งความเร็วจาก 0-100 กิโลเมตรต่อชั่วโมง ได้ในระยะเวลา 3 วินาที ด้วยความเร็วสูงสุดถึง 220 กิโลเมตรต่อชั่วโมง ระดับความดังของเครื่องยนต์ เพียง 80dB (รถยนต์ปกติ 70 dB รถขนส่งมวลชนหรือรถบัส 90 dB) น้ำหนักรถรวมนักขับ 780 กิโลกรัม เมืื่อขับขี่ด้วยความเร็วสูงสุดสามารถวิ่งได้ประมาณ 20-25 นาที

The Formula E accelerates from 0-100 Km/h (60mph) in 3 seconds, with the maximum speed of 220 Km/h. The Formula E car will have a unique futuristic sound that wwill be 80 decibels (ordinary car = 70dB ; Formula E = 80dB ; Bus = 90dB) and the weight of the car and driver is approximately 780kg. Formula E เป็นรายการแข่งขันใหม่ล่าสุดที่ได้การรับรองจาก FIA เป็นการแข่งขันรถยนต์ความเร็วสูงพลังงานไฟฟ้า สะท้อนวิสัยทัศน์และนวัตกรรมยานยนต์ในอนาคต โดยการแข่งขันจะเกิดขึ้นในเมืองชั้นนำจากทั่วโลก รอบพื้นที่สัญลักษณ์ประจำแต่ละเมือง ทั้งนี้ การขับสาธิตจะเริ่มต้นในปี พ.ศ.2556 จนถึงวันแข่งขันในปี พ.ศ.2557 ซึ่งมีทีมที่เข้าร่วมแข่งขันจำนวน 10 ทีมๆ ละ 2 คน ในการแข่งขันครั้งนี้ FIA ไม่ได้มองว่าเป็นแค่เพียงการส่งเสริมการแข่งขันกีฬาเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นการสานต่อคุณค่าและเจตนารมณ์สู่การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีด้านพลังงาน เพื่อการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน โดย Formula E จะเป็นกลจักรสำคัญสร้างความตระหนักต่อการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน ตลอดจนเป็นการกระตุ้นให้เกิดการวิจัยและพัฒนา นำไปสู่การปฏิวัติอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ในภาคอุตสาหกรรม ให้คนทั่วไปได้มีโอกาสใช้รถยนต์พลังงานไฟฟ้าเต็มระบบ เพื่อรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมและโลกอย่างแท้จริง

About FIA Formula E Championship:
Formula E is a new FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) championship featuring racing cars powered exclusively by electric energy. It represents a vision for the future of the motor industry over the coming decades. The races will be held in the heart of the world’s leading cities, around their main landmarks. Demonstrations of the first cars will commence in 2013, followed by the first official electric car race in 2014. The plan is for a grid of 10 teams and 20 drivers in 2014. The FIA has expressed its delight with the sport’s shared values of clean energy and sustainability. Formula E hopes to promote general awareness around sustainability. It also intends to serve as a framework for R&D around the electric vehicle and accelerate general interest in these cars for personal use.
