The Institute of Internal Auditors of Thailand Hosts the 2012 Asian Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors Conference (ACIIA 2012) The Institute of Internal Auditors of Thailand will host the 2012 Asian Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors Conference (ACIIA 2012) at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center during November 8 - 10, 2012, with Mr. Kittiratt Na-Ranong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance giving a special talk during the opening ceremony. Distinguished participants at the conference include Mr. John Jungsuk Pyun, President of ACIIA, Mr. Phil D. Tarling, Chairman of the Board, Global IIA, Khun Suwan Damnernthong, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and Khunying Jaruvan Maintaka, Chairman of the Board, The Institute of Internal Auditors of Thailand.ACIIA Bangkok 2012 is organized with an objective to raise the awareness of organizations in the public and private sector of the significance of supervision, risk management, and internal auditing, which will benefit credibility of the organizations, which in turn helps increase the confidence of various stakeholders. The speakers of the conference are equipped with a high level of expertise on the regional and international levels, and the participants are administrators and professional auditors from the 16 member countries of the Asian Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors, i.e. Australia, People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Azerbaijan, and Thailand.
