Synopsis:

Who said you have to win to be a champion? As their wedding approaches, Slava needs only to quit his job and tie up loose ends back in "Fingers" before returning to Moscow to start a new life with his new bride. Synopsis: 

Each year on the 8th of March the telephone networks of Russia transfer millions of calls and SMS messages. Industrious analysts have calculated that the absolute majority of the telephone calls are made to the main women in the world for all people — their mothers.
 
We have grown up, and the applique works prepared in advance, as well as the bouquets of flowers bought before mother awakes are long-forgotten child’s habits. Now we congratulate our mothers as adults: we wait until they awake and dial a telephone number.

 
But what happens if there is a collapse, and the telephone network fails because of peak overflow? So, there is no telecommunication. What is to be done? Someone will wait until it is reestablished, and will congratulate the mother in the evening, and maybe even on the next day. And others, like the characters of our film almanac, will change their plans to congratulate their mothers exactly on that day … personally…  like in the childhood!
Eight different congratulations and life situations. Eight different MOTHERS.

            ในวันที่ 8 มีนาคมของแต่ละปี เครือข่ายโทรศัพท์ของรัสเซียต้องเชื่อมต่อสายโทรศัพท์และข้อความนับล้านครั้ง นักวิเคราะห์ได้มีการคำนวณว่า ในวันนี้ คนส่วนใหญ่มักจะใช้โทรศัพท์โทรหาผู้หญิงคนสำคัญ คนเหล่านั้นก็คือแม่ของพวกเขา

            เมื่อพวกเราเติบโตขึ้นและด้วยภาระหน้าที่การงาน ดูเหมือนว่าเราจะหลงลืมนิสัยวัยเยาว์บางอย่าง เช่น การเตรียมการฉลองและซื้อช่อดอกรอไว้มอบให้กับแม่ก่อนที่แม่จะตื่น ตอนนี้พวกเราแสดงความยินดีกับแม่ของพวกเราแบบผู้ใหญ่นั่นก็คือ รอจนกระทั่งพวกเธอตื่นแล้วค่อยยกหูโทรศัพท์โทรหา  แต่จะเกิดอะไรขึ้น ถ้าระบบเครือข่ายโทรศัพท์ล่มเพราะมีผู้ใช้จำนวนมากพร้อมๆกันจนเครือข่ายเกินจะรับไหว เมื่อเกิดปัญหานี้ บางคนจะรอจนกว่าเครือข่ายจะดีขึ้นเพื่อแสดงความยินดีกับแม่ในตอนเย็น หรืออาจจะรอจนถึงวันถัดไป และบางคนเช่นตัวละครทั้งแปดในภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้อาจจะเลือกวิธีแสดงความยินดีกับแม่ในแบบที่พวกเขาเคยทำในวัยเด็กในรูปแบบต่างๆกัน

เรื่องย่อ:

            เค้าโครงเรื่องของหนังสั้นความยาวห้านาทีจำนวน 18 เรื่องจากผู้กำกับ 18 คน ที่ร้อยเรียงต่อกันได้ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวอันสดใสของชีวิตในกรุงมอสโก ซึ่งได้แสดงความสัมพันธ์ของผู้คน การพบเจอ การจากลา การสูญเสียและการได้รับผลประโยชน์  ตัวละครหลักที่ร้อยเรียงเรื่องราวทั้งหมดเข้าด้วยกันก็คือกรุงมอสโกนั่นเอง

            ผู้กำกับภาพยนตร์หลายคนได้มีส่วนร่วมในการสร้างโครงการศิลปะที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ในภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ มีการเพิ่มวิธีการที่เป็เอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว แสดงออกถึงเสรีภาพทางความคิด รูปแบบและประเภทที่หลากหลาย ผ่านวิธีการบอกเล่าเรื่องราวที่น่าสนใจของผู้กำกับแต่ละคน ที่ต่างสารภาพว่าพวกเขารักมอสโก

5)      Brest Fortress

Synopsis:

The film narrates about the heroic defense of the Brest fortress which assumed the first blow of the Fascist invaders on June 22, 1941. The film accurately depicts the events which took place during the first days of the well-renowned defense. The film is also about three main resistance areas with Peter Gavrilov, commander of the regiment, Efim Fomin, commissioner, and Andrey Kizhevatov, commander of the 9th frontier post, at the head.

            ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้บอกเล่าเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับการปกป้องป้อมปราการ Brest (Brest Fortress) ของเหล่าวีรบุรุษผู้กล้าของกองทัพโซเวียต Brest Fortress ถูกโจมตีด้วยระเบิดเป็นครั้งแรกโดยผู้รุกรานกลุ่ม Fascist เมื่อวันที่ 22 มิถุนายน ปี 1941 ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ได้แสดงให้เห็นถึงเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในช่วงวันแรกๆของการปกป้องประเทศที่มีชื่อเสียงในครั้งนั้นไว้อย่างละเอียดแม่นยำ ภาพยนตร์ยังได้กล่าวถึงบริเวณพื้นที่สามเขตป้องกันของกองกำลังกู้ชาติโซเวียตนำโดยผู้นำทหารใหญ่สามนาย คือ เขตที่ 1 นำโดยผู้บัญชาการกรมทหาร Pyotr Mikhailovich Gavrilov เขตที่ 2 นำโดยที่หัวหน้ากรมกอง Efim Moiseevich Fomin และหัวหน้าด่านชายแดนที่ 3 Andrey Mitrofanovich Kizhevatov เป็นผู้นำ
