TIRATHAI be proud of 25% more revenue over the last year
TIRATHAI transformer or TRT expresses the impression on its 2011’s performance, with a growth of revenue up to 25% from 1,426.43 MTB. The executive, Mr. Samphan Wongpan, with his utmost content, says next year 2012 comes even a greater year, expecting a growth of 20% after having had 900 MTB backlog in hand. Next year it prepares to bid more than 4,800 MTB in government procurements and to win over 20-30% of that.
Mr. Samphan Wongpan, MD, TIRATHAI Transformer Company Limited (public) or TRT, the sole Thai producer, dealer, and maintenance provider of all size of electrical transformer, discloses that the passing 2011 has been a golden year of the company in terms of its performance and its revenue. It is expected that the company earns 25% more from 1,426.43 MTB in 2010 and net profit is expected to increase over 40% from the previous year; 142.73 MTB
In 2012, the company anticipates another year of good performance with continuous growth, expecting 20% more revenue due to the increase of order placed on transformer products. At present, the company has already had over 900 MTB Backlog in hand contributing to 350 MTB from the government sector, 25 MTB from Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), 170 MTB from Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), 161 MTB from Electricity Generation Authority of Thailand (EGAT), and another 400 MTB from private sector, on top of 150 MTB from export.
Mr. Samphan adds that the investment direction and the bidding with government sector in 2012 in Q1-Q2 will contribute over 4,800 MTB; 1,600 MTB from PEA, 800 MTB from EGAT, and 1,800 MTB from MEA, and over 20-30% of these, the company expects the successful bidding, excluding private sector and export ones.
Gross Margin of the company, however, remains similar to the previous year; not less than 20-25% along with maintaining an appropriate market share. Multiple measures are performed in terms of risk management to be in a controlled level, in order to keep the smooth growth rate of the company.
